Ownership and editorial control
FleetSift is independently operated by Felix Cozmolici. Software vendors do not own FleetSift and cannot purchase a favorable review, comparison verdict or matcher position.
Source hierarchy
For product capabilities, pricing structures, contract statements and integration claims, FleetSift prioritizes vendor-owned pricing pages, product pages, help centers, legal terms and documentation. When a claim cannot be supported confidently, it should be omitted or described with appropriate uncertainty rather than presented as a fact.
Facts and editorial judgment are different
Statements such as a published starting price, product capability or contract term are treated as sourced facts. Statements about best fit, implementation burden or the most relevant alternative are editorial judgments based on the published research criteria. FleetSift does not present editorial judgment as a vendor claim.
No paid ranking positions
Affiliate, referral, lead-generation or other partner compensation may exist for a vendor. Compensation can determine whether an outbound link is monetized, but it does not change source citations, matcher scoring rules, category placement or an editorial comparison conclusion.
No invented user ratings
FleetSift does not manufacture star ratings, review counts or composite scores. If third-party customer-review evidence is used in future research, the source and context should be identifiable rather than converted into a fabricated FleetSift rating.
Freshness and revisions
Software pricing, packaging and capabilities change. Vendor reviews show when core facts were checked. Material changes should be re-researched from current sources and the page updated. A page's date is not a guarantee that every vendor term remains unchanged after that date.
Corrections
Factual corrections are evaluated on evidence, not on whether the request comes from a paying partner. If a material claim is wrong or outdated, FleetSift aims to correct the published research and its supporting source references.
What commercial partners can and cannot influence
- Whether a qualifying outbound link is monetized
- Whether a clearly disclosed sponsored placement is offered outside editorial rankings
- Operational details supplied for factual verification, subject to source review
- Matcher scoring or ranking position
- Published pricing facts or source citations
- Tradeoffs, fit judgments or comparison conclusions
- Whether a documented correction is accepted
